Heading home to Canada for a month. As I've had colds five times so far this year and they've lasted for over a week each, my trip will involve medical check ups. Carolyn's staying in Shanghai. Her parents are having their home renovated, so they're going to stay with Carolyn at our place. I've signed a new contract with my current employer, and, though not ideal, I've enjoyed working with them much more than the previous two schools. Last month, for my birthday, we joined two other mixed couples (American husbands-Chinese wives) for dinner at Tony Roma's. Carolyn bought me a new cell phone.
